Students of Samarkand State University are going to Bukhara…

    648 students, 33 responsible, a total of 681 faculty and students of Samarkand State University are in Bukhara under the “Travel around Uzbekistan” program. This program includes a four-day tour with visits to historical monuments, ancient mosques and Kadamzhay of the city of Bukhara in accordance with the plan.

    - The program "Journey to Bukhara" inspires us, students, for the new academic year, - says Shahlo Tursunova, a student of the Faculty of Biology of SamSU. - We began our acquaintance with Bukhara under the guidance of the dean and deputy deans of our faculty. All the possibilities for our trip have been created. Comfortable hotels, quality cuisine and, in addition, vehicles also serve us well. Separately, I want to note that all financial costs for our 4-day trip are paid by the leadership of Samarkand State University. For this I want to thank the rector of the SamSU, professor, scientist of the Republic of Uzbekistan Rustam Khalmuradov.

We made a trip to Sitorai Mokhi Hossa, the Ark fortress, the Labikhovuz ensemble, which is considered the summer residence of the last ruler of the Emirate of Bukhara, Said Olim Khan.     “I am a historian, I have been interested in this area since childhood,” says student Sardor Ikromov. - I have a number of knowledge about Bukhara, but I have not seen them in practice. Throughout our journey, I am a witness to living history. In particular, I received new information about the Bukhara Arch Mound. This journey is very important for us historians.
