INTERVIEW PROCEDURE AND EVALUATION CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION OF ACADEMIC LYCEUM GRADUATES TO SAMARKAND STATE UNIVERSITY

Individual interviews are conducted annually between July 10 and July 25 by the interview commission.

The interview is conducted in the languages of instruction available at Samarkand State University. The applicant selects the language and indicates it in the application.

Applicants are admitted to the interview according to queue order. Each applicant must bring a biometric passport or ID card.

It is strictly prohibited to bring mobile phones, communication devices, dictionaries, books, cheat sheets into the interview, use them, or assist other applicants.

An individual interview with one applicant may last up to 30 minutes.

Interview results are evaluated on a 100-point grading system.

4 General outlook, continuous self-development, and creativity 25 points
TOTAL 100 points

Interview results are announced within one working day on the official website and social media pages of Samarkand State University.

Applicants will not be admitted in the following cases:

  • Failure to attend the interview according to schedule (0 points);
  • Scoring 56% or less of the maximum score.

Re-taking the interview for admission to Samarkand State University bachelor’s programs is not permitted.
