Biography

• 1975-1980 - Student of the Faculty of Uzbek and Tajik Philology of Samarkand State University;
• 1980-1990 - Laboratory assistant of the Department of General Linguistics of the Faculty of Uzbek Philology, Senior Laboratory Assistant of Samarkand State University;
• 1990-1993 - Lecturer at the interfaculty department of the Uzbek language of Samarkand State University;
• 1993-2008 - Senior Lecturer of the Department of Practical Linguistics, Methods of Teaching the Uzbek Language and Literature, Samarkand State University;
• 2008-2015 - Associate Professor of the Department of Practical Linguistics, Methods of Teaching the Uzbek Language and Literature, Samarkand State University;
• 2009-2016 - Head of the office of Samarkand State University (part-time teacher);
• 2015-2017 - Associate Professor of the Department of Uzbek Language and Literature, Practical Linguistics, Department of Teaching Methods of the Uzbek Language and Literature, Samarkand State University;
• 2017 - present - Secretary of the Academic Council of Samarkand State University.

THE COUNCIL OF THE UNIVERSITY

    The University Council is organized on the basis of the Laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Education” and “On the National Training Program”, as well as the “Model Regulations on the Scientific Council of a Higher Educational Institution”, approved by Order No. 487 of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 3, 2011 of the year, paragraph 2 of Resolution No. 181 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On amendments and additions to some Decrees of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan” dated February 28, 2019, as well as the Regulations prepared on the basis of changes made by orders of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education No. 214 dated March 2, 2019 "On the implementation of Resolution No. 181 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 28, 2019", and No. 296 dated April 1, 2019 "On amendments and additions to some orders of the ministry."

The Council by official duties includes the Rector of the University, Vice Rectors, the Academic Secretary of the Council, deans of faculties, heads of independent organizations and units which are part of the University, heads of some profile departments, graduating specialists, the head of the military department, heads of some departments of the University, heads of public organizations, the head of the regional center for training and retraining at the University, director of the academic lyceum of the University and senior legal advisor. In addition, other members of the Council are elected at the general meetings of the faculties by secret ballot. The term of office of the University Council is 5 years.

The purpose of the council is to direct the intellectual potential, scientific, pedagogical and other capabilities of the university staff to ensure the fulfillment of the tasks defined in the law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Education", "National Personnel Training Program", in Resolutions, Decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the development of the higher education system, in the relevant Resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in orders and instructions of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, for the training of professional specialists with perfect knowledge, skills, abilities at the level of the requirements of the state educational standard of higher education. Council meetings are held on the basis of the plan and are documented in minutes. The minutes are signed by the chairman of the council and the scientific secretary of the council. Council resolutions come into force after approval by the rector.
