Cooperation with Dongguk University of the Republic of Korea
A delegation from Dongguk University of the Republic of Korea, headed by its Rector Young Woo Je, visited Samarkand State University.
The delegation was received by Rustam Khalmuradov, Rector of Samarkand State University, Honored Scientist of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, the parties reached agreements on further cooperation. They discussed the establishment of an educational program in Korean traditional medicine, the training of qualified specialists, and the organization of an international conference dedicated to the history of the Great Silk Road.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding. Following the meeting, the guests visited the Archaeological Museum of Samarkand State University.
