Farrukh Akhmedov, Associate Professor and Head of the Research Coordination Department at Samarkand State University, has won an international grant competition announced by the UNESCO Fund for the Elimination of Doping in Sport.

Following the results of the competition, the Fund’s Approval Committee approved the allocation of grant funding for the implementation of Uzbekistan’s project.

The project aims to improve the effectiveness of anti-doping efforts in sport, widely promote the values of clean sport, and develop initiatives focused on doping prevention.

This achievement is of great importance for Samarkand State University’s work in developing international cooperation and creating scientific and practical solutions to pressing issues in the field of sport.
