An open integrated lecture on the topic "The Role of Telemedicine in Healthcare, Its Development, and Digital Medicine" was held at Family Polyclinic No. 3 in the Charxin neighborhood (MFY) of Pastdargom district, with the participation of 3rd-year Fundamental Medicine students of the Biochemistry Institute of Samarkand State University. The event was attended by the head of Family Polyclinic No. 3, Otakhon Iskandarov, the director of the Biochemistry Institute, Professor Mukhtor Nosirov, as well as visiting professors and lecturers from Kashkadarya, Tashkent, and Moscow, Russia. In addition to the lecture, the students became familiar with working with patients in the day-hospital setting of the district family polyclinic, as well as with its laboratory-diagnostic and home-visit (patronage) system. The event was also broadcast online via the ZOOM platform to students of groups 302-303 of the university's Fundamental Medicine program.
