A delegation led by Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of China in Uzbekistan Chi Jun Lin visited Samarkand State University. The main purpose of this visit is to get acquainted with the work of the Center of Chinese Culture and History at SamSU and to futher improve the function of the center.

    “It is a great honor for us to visit Samarkand State University, which is an ancient point of science,” said Chi Jun Lin, Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of China in Uzbekistan.  - We are glad to see that students are studying Chinese culture and history.  In negotiations with the administration of Samarkand State University, we reached an agreement on further expansion of the center.  I think this center will serve to further strengthen our cooperation.

    For information, the Center of Chinese Culture and History of Samarkand State University was opened in 2018, which reflects the Chinese culture and traditions.  The center also contains important information about Chinese universities and the education system.
