At your initiative, the University's Laboratory of Tribology, Nanotechnology and Optical Technologies—the only facility of its kind in Central Asia—was established in cooperation with Changchun University of Technology, China. Furthermore, with the financial support of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), a master's degree program in Engineering Physics has been successfully launched.
