A ceremonial event for awarding diplomas to talented graduates of Samarkand State University took place at the “Youth Center” in Samarkand city.

The event was attended by the rector of Samarkand State University, Honored Scientist of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and a member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Rustam Khalmuradov, as well as several officials and the parents of graduates.

Rustam Khalmuradov spoke about supporting talented youth and the measures being taken to enhance their competitiveness in the international education market and labor market. In particular, he noted that this year, 95 talented graduates were admitted to the master’s programs of prestigious foreign higher education institutions.

He also emphasized that one of the priority tasks is to further expand the coverage of all talented graduates by leading foreign higher education institutions and to increase their participation in international education and scientific activities.

During the ceremony, diplomas were ceremoniously awarded to talented graduates, while their parents received letters of appreciation from the university administration.
