Open Dialogue with Representatives of Literature, Culture and Art
An open dialogue took place in the meeting hall of Samarkand State University with the governor of Samarkand region Adiz Boboyev and representatives of culture and art, heads of relevant departments and organizations, as well as activists.
It was noted at the meeting that the communication of our country’s leader with representatives of literature, culture and art is regarded as an important event and a significant innovation in our spiritual life.
– Samarkand has long been a center for the development of culture, art and creativity. “People from various regions have always aspired to this city”, – said the regional governor. – Today, representatives of literature, culture and art in our region are achieving high results in international competitions and participating successfully in prestigious forums. However, we need to elevate this level further, improve the quality of activities in the field and increase the interest of residents from neighboring regions in our theaters and creative institutions.
During the meeting, representatives of the sector expressed their proposals and opinions. In particular, People’s Artist of Uzbekistan Mardon Mavlonov, the head of the artistic group “Pastdargom Gunchalari” at the children’s music and art school No. 32 in Pastdargom Uygun Botayev and others discussed pressing issues in the field, problems concerning creative individuals and their proposals and requests.
