Another “Open Doors Day” event was organized at Samarkand State University named after Sharof Rashidov. The event was attended by the university's Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Shukhrat Umidullayev, Chief Specialist of the Academic Department Samad Tolliboyev, Head of the Marketing and Student Affairs Department Murod Hojiyev, Head of the Preschool and School Education Department of Urgut district Elyor Po‘latov, and school graduates from the district.

Vice-Rector Shukhrat Umidullayev opened the event with an introductory speech. Subsequently, the heads of SamSU institutes and faculties provided the students with detailed information about the unique features and opportunities of higher education, as well as the conditions available at the institution.

The educational facilities, research laboratories, museums, and the university greenhouse sparked great interest among the school students.
