Representatives from Zhengzhou University of the People’s Republic of China visited Samarkand State University. The delegation included Gao Xiaoling, Director of the Institute of Foreign Languages and International Relations at Zhengzhou University; Wu Junchao, Head of the International Relations and Cooperation Department; Gu Junling, Dean of the Russian Language Faculty at the same institute; and Sui Xinmin, Honorary Professor of the institute.

The Chinese guests were welcomed and engaged in discussions by Khakim Khushvaqtov, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work and Innovations of Samarkand State University; Sardor Umarov, Director of the International Educational Programs Center; and Zarifa Mo‘minova, Dean of the Faculty of Psychology and Socio-Political Sciences.

During the meeting, issues of cooperation in international programs, scientific research, and academic exchanges were discussed, and specific agreements were reached.
