On the occasion of “Youth Day”, a meeting was held at Samarkand State University featuring officials, young scientists, doctoral students, and undergraduates. The event was attended by Akmal Jumanazarov, Director of the Agency for Technical Regulation under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan; Noibaxon Mamadaliyeva, Advisor to the Director on Research Issues; Lazizbek Saidoripov, Director of the Uzbek National Institute of Metrology; Hakim Khushvaktov, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation at SamSU; and other executive officials.

    The event was opened by Vice-Rector Hakim Khushvaktov, who discussed the ongoing developments in education and scientific research. He specifically highlighted the Quantum Center at the Institute of Engineering Physics, modern laboratories, and the research being conducted in the laboratories of the Institute of Biochemistry. Akmal Jumanazarov delivered a presentation on the agency's activities, while Lazizbek Saidoripov presented a report on quantum metrology.

    The meeting proceeded with an open dialogue between officials and the youth, where young researchers and students received detailed answers to their questions. At the conclusion of the visit, the guests toured the Quantum Center, the scientific laboratories of the Institute of Engineering Physics, and the laboratories of the Institute of Biochemistry.
