The V International Conference on “Development Trends in the Field of Electronics and Healthcare Informatics” began its work at Samarkand State University. More than fifty renowned scientists from nearly twenty countries worldwide are participating in the conference. The conference was opened with an introductory speech by Rustam Khalmuradov, Rector of Samarkand State University, Honored Scientist of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis.

In his speech, Rustam Khalmuradov specifically emphasized the immense importance of digital technologies and artificial intelligence at the current stage of world development, noting that their rational use and international scientific and practical cooperation in this field would elevate global development to a new, higher level.

Mahmud Khan, Head of the Department of Health Policy and Management at the University of Georgia (USA), Vincent Chang, Chairman of a hedge fund in the USA, Professor Yusuf Chelik from Acibadem University (Turkey), Professor Kanad Rey from Amity University Rajasthan (India), and Professor Arindam Banik from Samarkand State University expressed their views on the specific characteristics, unparalleled effectiveness, and practical significance of applying artificial intelligence and digital technologies in scientific research and production.

After the plenary session concluded, the conference continued its work in parallel sessions in the afternoon.
