Rustam Khalmuradov, Rector of Samarkand State University named after Sharof Rashidov, Honored Scientist of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, today received Mikhail Kovalchuk, President of the “Kurchatov Institute” National Research Center of Russia and Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The ceremony was attended by Academician Muksin Ashurov, as well as professors, lecturers, and scientific staff of Samarkand State University.

During the meeting, proposals and opinions were put forward regarding the establishment and expansion of bilateral scientific and practical cooperation between educational and research institutions, the application of convergent technologies and elementary particle physics, digital technologies in medicine and biology, and the implementation of academic exchanges. The necessity of initiating practical actions in this regard was emphasized.

    Uchrashuvda ta’lim va tadqiqot muassasalari o‘rtasida ikki tomonlama ilmiy-amaliy hamkorlikni yo‘lga qo‘yish va kengaytirish, konvergent texnologiyalar va elementar zarrachalar fizikasi, tibbiyot va biologiyada raqamli texnologiyalarni qo‘llash, akademik almashinuvlarni amalga oshirish xususida taklif va mulohazalar bildirildi. Bu boradagi amaliy harakatlarni boshlash zarurligi ta’kidlandi.
