Samarkand State University organized a creative evening dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Nurulloh Ostonov, a member of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan, a renowned poet, writer, and skilled journalist.

The conference was attended by Subkhon Abbasov, First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work, Professor Jo‘liboy Eltazarov, Director of the Institute of Central Asian Peoples, Languages, and Cultures, Farrukh Hamroyev, Editor-in-Chief of “Samarkandim” – “My Samarkand” magazine, relatives of the poet, and a number of journalists.

A film dedicated to the life and work of Nurulloh Oston, prepared by the Information Service of Samarkand State University, was screened.

A congratulatory message from Rustam Khalmuradov, Rector of Samarkand State University, Honored Scientist of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Member of the Oliy Majlis Senate, was read out, and gifts were presented.
