Adiz Boboyev, Acting Governor of the Samarkand region, visited Samarkand State University today. Accompanied by Rustam Khalmuradov, Rector of Samarkand State University, a Statesman of Science of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and a member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, he inspected the newly constructed academic building of the university. The uniqueness of the building, erected based on modern and Eastern architectural traditions, and its convenience for the educational process were particularly emphasized. Furthermore, the regional governor also visited the Faculty of Intellectual Systems and Computer Technologies.

During the visit, Adiz Boboyev met with the rectors of higher education institutions in Samarkand who were invited to the university. In the course of the dialogue, discussions were held regarding preparations for the new academic year, admission results, further enhancement of educational quality, expansion of cooperation with foreign higher education institutions, support for gifted students, attention to student dormitories, and the acceleration of fundamental scientific research. The rectors of the higher education institutions also shared their thoughts and proposals on the discussed issues. Adiz Boboyev wished everyone success in the new academic year.
