A group of students, young scientists and professors-teachers of the Institute of Agrobiotechnology and Food Security of Samarkand State University are currently at Hankyung National University in South Korea.

This trip was organized within the framework of an international seven-year project implemented between SSU and Hankyung National University. According to the project, 14 students, young scientists and professors-teachers of our university went to South Korea to obtain modern knowledge and skills in the field of “smart agriculture” and horticulture.

During the trip, our students met with the President of Hankyung National University, Professor Mr. Wonhee Lee, and demonstrated their interest in the field of agriculture and desire to gain deep knowledge in this area.

In addition, the participants visit various scientific laboratories, research centers and modern greenhouses of the university, where they get acquainted with the educational processes and research work carried out on the basis of intelligent technologies. In particular, they had the opportunity to get acquainted with the work of the horticultural biotechnology laboratory, the Hansalim agricultural product analysis center, the agrochemistry and soil science laboratories, as well as the work on the university’s field experimental plots.

Within the framework of this international project, 14 students and young scientists from SSU have the opportunity to participate in two-week intensive training courses on modern agriculture at Hankyung National University every year.
