The conference, which focused on the topic of 'Ecological situation and environmental protection problems, innovative solutions and prospects', was organised in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change, the Committee on Ecology and Environmental Protection of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, Siberian State University, Baltic State Technical University, and the Russian State Peoples' Friendship University.

    It was organised in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation; the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change; the Committee on Ecology and Environmental Protection of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis; Siberian State University; Baltic State Technical University; and Peoples' Friendship University of Russia.

    Around 100 scientists from countries including the USA, Canada, China, Russia, Brazil, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan attended the event and presented reports.

    Akmal Akhatov, Vice-Rector of Samarkand State University, opened the plenary session of the international conference with an introductory speech. He emphasised that this conference was of unparalleled importance due to the urgent need to address environmental issues worldwide.

    During the event, analytical reports on the topic were presented by Zebiniso Rahmonova (a deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and a candidate of biological sciences), Professor Ailikin (Tibetan Plateau Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences), Michell Reboita (Federal University of Brazil), Associate Professor A. Danshin (Moscow State University) and M. Sobirov (Khujand State University of Tajikistan).
