Professor Akmal Akhatov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation of Samarkand State University, and Academician Saidahmad Lakayev, Head of the Department of Mathematical Physics and Functional Analysis, were on a business trip to Almaty, Kazakhstan.

    As part of the visit, they actively participated in the “Second Central Asia - China Green Energy Academic Forum”, organized jointly by SamSU, Xi’an Jiaotong University of China, and the National University of Kazakhstan.

    This prestigious conference was attended by representatives of the Academies of Sciences of Uzbekistan, China, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan, higher educational institutions, as well as enterprises and organizations closely related to the field of education.

    Within the framework of the forum, a cooperation agreement was signed, which includes a number of items on increasing the efficiency of alternative sources in the field of green energy, exchanging scientific achievements and engineering solutions, supporting young scientists, organizing international internships, and developing and implementing joint scientific projects.

    Academician Saidahmad Laqayev participated in the forum with a scientific report on the topic “Trends and Applications of Mathematics in the Development of Green Energy”. His speech was met with great interest by the participants.

    Also, SamSU Vice-Rector Professor Akmal Akhatov held meetings with Xiang Jiaton and the leadership of the National Universities of Kazakhstan. During the negotiations, preliminary agreements were reached on organizing advanced training courses in such advanced areas as robotics, artificial intelligence, geoinformation systems, and establishing an exchange of professors, teachers, researchers, and students.
