On May 27, 2025, in memory of Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Yevgeny Malinovsky, who worked for many years at Samarkand State University, dedicated his entire life to the education and upbringing of youth, and made a worthy contribution to strengthening the friendship of peoples through the teaching of Russian language and literature, "His name lives in hearts..." A conference titled "A Trace Left in Everyone's Soul..." was held.

    The conference was opened by the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation of Samarkand State University, Professor Akmal Akhadov, who emphasized the merits of Yevgeny Malinovsky in the field of science and education.

    Professor Malinovsky's life and work are an example of dedication to his work, an example of how much one can dedicate oneself to serving science and education. His scientific work, pedagogical activity, and contribution to the science of philology are incomparable and have left a noticeable mark. His work, his students, his example - all of this is a part of our cultural heritage.

    Its name is inextricably linked with the development of Russian phraseology, especially with the activities of the Samarkand school of phraseology, founded by Professors Leonid Roisenzon and Yulia Avaliani. Evgeny Andreyevich's contribution to this school, the development of its theoretical and practical aspects, and its development is immeasurable and incomparable.
