Doston Tuvalov, a researcher at the Institute of Agrobiotechnology and Food Security at Samarkand State University, is at the Agricultural University of Iceland to participate in the International Training Course on Combating Land Degradation (GRO-LRT).

      This 6-month international training course will teach the world's leading knowledge and experience in soil and flora protection and land restoration in the face of today's climate change. This year, 23 young scientists and researchers from 9 countries are participating in the program. Professors and teachers from the world's leading universities were brought in together with leading Icelandic scientists to train them and improve their skills.

      Doston Tuvalov, having modern knowledge in the field, under the guidance of Icelandic scientists, conducts research to study the processes of degradation occurring in desert pastures of Uzbekistan, based on modern approaches and to develop measures to combat them.
