Samarkand State University named after Sharaf Rashidov, together with the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection of the Samarkand region, organized in the Zarafshan National Natural Park, a scientific and practical conference on the topic: “Actual questions of environmental protection” in connection to June 5th – “The international day of environmental protection”.

    The event was opened by Professor Ergash Kobilov, Head of the Department of Ecology and Life Safety of Samarkand State University. Detailed information about the practical work carried out today in our country was provided, in particular, about the essence and significance of the national project: "Green space" set forward by the President to preserve the natural state of the environment.

    Speaking at the conference, the director of the Samarkand regional department of ecology and environmental protection B.Sanakulov, the director of the Zarafshan National Park B.Radjabov spoke about the work carried out in this direction and the future steps.
