The Republican Scientific and Practical Conference "Academician Botirkhon Valikhodzhaev and Classical Literature" has started.
The event was opened by the rector of Samarkand State University, professor, member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Rustam Khаlmurаdov.
- Academician Botirkhon Valikhodzhaev was a great man, a great scientist. He was 90 years old when he is alive today. It would not be an exaggeration to say that the scientist devoted his life to Samarkand State University. Botirkhon Valikhodzhaev was a true connoisseur of the history of Uzbek literature. We will always remember the work of the great master for science.
