Mahnaz Ghorbani, a researcher at Tehran State University, gave a lecture on the history of the Iranian language and culture to students of the Faculty of History of Samarkand State University. The course was held in an unconventional format, and students' opinions and views on the commonality of Iranian culture and traditions with the cultures of the peoples of Central Asia were heard. The period of formation of the Iranian language and the literary and historical sources of this period are described in detail.

At the end of the lesson, students received answers to their questions on the history of Iranian culture. A lively discussion of the historical foundations and roots that unite the Persian and Uzbek cultures gave the lesson a special charm.
