Scientific-practical conference "Actual issues of archeology of Uzbekistan", dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Professor of Samarkand State University, Honored Trainer of Youth of Uzbekistan Mavlon Zhurakulov
The conference was opened by the rector of Samarkand State University, professor, member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Rustam Kholmurodov:
“When I think of Mavlon Dzhurakulov, I think of a calm scientist, a wise leader, a kind person.
When I became the rector of SamSU in 1999, the wise advice and suggestions of Mavlon Zhurakulov helped me a lot. I realized that the teacher loved Samarkand State University, where he spent his whole life. He rejoiced at every change and goodness at the university. In turn, it was difficult for him to endure negative circumstances. The teacher could not imagine his life without the university. He thought about the university until his last breath.”
