A scientific-theoretical seminar on "The state and organization of physical education classes in higher education institutions in the form of sports clubs" will be held on April 25 at the Faculty of Sports and Arts of Samarkand State University named after Sharof Rashidov.

    The seminar is organized by the Department of Interfaculty Physical Culture of Samarkand State University in cooperation with the Samarkand branch of the Institute for Retraining and Advanced Training of Physical Culture and Sports of the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan.  It includes achievements and shortcomings in the process of transforming physical education classes in higher education into sports clubs, problems and solutions, shortcomings in the system of training sports coaches, physical education and sports among students. There will be a roundtable discussion on ways to promote its popularity. The seminar will also be attended by the heads of departments of physical education of other universities, chairmen of sports clubs, officials of physical culture and sports.
