A delegation led by President of the Korean Institute of Industrial Technology Nak-Kyu Lee visited Samarkand State University named after Sharof Rashidov.

    At the meeting with the rector of Samarkand State University, professor, member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Rustam Kholmurodov, the sides exchanged views on the establishment of bilateral purposeful cooperation, the organization of educational processes on the basis of the latest technologies.

    Principally, the issues of training of staff in the field of agricultural technology, machinery, working with rare metals were discussed.

    Rector of Samarkand State University Rustam Kholmurodov expressed his views on attracting potential researchers from all over the world, particularly, Korea, to the newly established Institute of Engineering Physics, to accelerate the process of modern integration at the institute.  An agreement was reached to establish student exchanges in modern sciences such as agro-technology, economics, modern IT technologies, engineering physics.

    At the end of the event, presents were submitted over as a symbol of friendly relations.
