The Rector of Dicle University of Turkey, Professor Mehmet Karokoç visited Samarkand State University.

    The main purpose of this visit is to establish cooperation and exchange experiences in the fields of agriculture, engineering, agrotechnics, law, as well as to sign a memorandum.

     - We came to Samarkand State University with specific proposals, - says the rector of Dicle University, Professor Mehmet Karokoch.  -  It has been 50 years since the university was founded. During this time we have trained 30 types of specialists. Today, our most modern laboratories have been operated, located on an area of 1,900 hectares. Besides that, we want to work with Samarkand State University within the framework of the ERASMUS + program project.  If this project works, we will launch joint training programs in agro-technology in the future.

     "Scientists from Dicle University have achieved high results in the fields of agriculture, engineering, chemistry, biology and medicine," says Vice-Rector of International Cooperation of SamSU, Professor Akmal Akhatov.  "After getting acquainted the contract presented by Dicle University, we agreed to send our students to study for bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees."
