The “Open Doors Day” event continues at Samarkand State University named after Sharof Rashidov, aimed at attracting graduates of general secondary schools to higher education institutions.

The latest “Open Doors Day” was attended by the university’s Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Shukhrat Umidullayev, Chief Specialist of the Academic Department Samad Tolliboyev, Head of the Marketing and Student Affairs Department Murod Hojiyev, Head of the Preschool and School Education Department of Kattaqo‘rg‘on district Alisher Daminov, and 90 gifted graduating students from the district’s schools.

During the event, Vice-Rector Shukhrat Umidullayev, along with Tulkin O‘rozov (Deputy Director of the Institute of Agrobiotechnology and Food Security), Professor Shamsiddin Yo‘ldoshev (Institute of Human Resources and Neighborhood Development), Siroj O‘roqov (Director of the Institute of Biochemistry), Ahmad Absanov (Director of the Institute of Engineering Physics), Rahmatilla Mirzayev (Dean of the Faculty of Law), Ro‘ziqul Abriyev (Dean of the Faculty of History), Ahmad Kholkho‘jayev (Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics), Aliqul Ravshanov (Dean of the Faculty of Geography and Ecology), and Zarifa Mo‘minova (Dean of the Faculty of Psychology and Social-Political Sciences) provided students with information regarding the specific features of education at the university, available opportunities, benefits, and future prospects.
