Samarkand State University Master's Student Amirjon Salahiddinov to Complete Internship at Prestigious International Scientific Center – JINR
Amirjon Salahiddinov, a master’s student at Samarkand State University, will successfully complete a scientific internship at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR) – one of the world's leading scientific centers located in Dubna, Moscow region, Russian Federation, from February 15 to April 11, 2026. This institute holds a high international reputation in the field of nuclear physics and fundamental research, bringing together leading scientists from various countries.

During the internship, Amirjon Salahiddinov conducted scientific research under the guidance of his scientific supervisor from Samarkand State University, Safarov Akmal Askarovich, and under the direct scientific supervision of Professor Artikov Akram Muzaffarovich, who is active at JINR. Furthermore, the scientific and practical assistance provided by JINR specialists Vasiliev I.I. and Baranov V.Yu. during the research process was crucial in enhancing work efficiency.

At the conclusion of his research, Amirjon Salahiddinov completed a scientific work titled “Study of the Effect of Gamma Radiation on the Light Output of the LYSO:Ce Inorganic Scintillation Crystal”. Within this work, the properties of light output from the LYSO:Ce inorganic scintillation crystal under the influence of gamma radiation were deeply analyzed using modern experimental methods.
This internship marks an important step for the young researcher in gaining experience in an international scientific environment and will serve his development as a skilled specialist in nuclear physics and high technologies in the future.
