This is stated in Cabinet of Ministers Decree No. 447-G, dated 10 July 2024.

In accordance with the Government Decree, the Organising Committee for the preparation and high-level holding of the 38th International Olympiad in Informatics in Uzbekistan in 2026 has been formed.

    The composition of the Organising Committee for preparing and holding the 38th International Olympiad in Informatics in Uzbekistan in 2026 has been approved.

    A 'roadmap' has been approved for organising and holding the 38th International Olympiad in Informatics in Uzbekistan in 2026, as well as for preparing young people for prestigious international IT competitions and contests and ensuring they participate at a high level.

    The Organising Committee's tasks will be as follows:

    To draw up a general plan for organizing and preparing for the Olympiad in our country, to train the necessary specialists and attract experts, and to coordinate the development and approval of the Olympiad program and logo;

    to cooperate with interested ministries and departments on organizing the Olympiad at a high level;

    to train the necessary specialists and attract experts to organize and hold the Olympiad;

    to resolve all issues and emerging problems related to preparing for the Olympiad promptly.

    According to the order, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations, the Agency for Youth Affairs will organize work to attract talented young people to prestigious international Olympiads, competitions and contests in the field of information technologies, promote them and popularize them among them.
