Sindor Pardaev, lecturer at the Institute of Agrobiotechnologies and Food Security of Samarkand State University, received a grant from the Islamic Development Bank and went to Selangor to study for a PhD at the University of Putra, Malaysia.

      Sindor Pardaev will be doing his dissertation at the University of Putra on the topic "Composting from organic waste and its impact on soil properties." The researcher is supervised by Prof. Latifah Abd Manaf from the University of Putra and Prof. Shodi Kholikulov from SamSU.

      For reference, the University of Putra Malaysia ranks 123rd in the QS World Rankings and 2nd in the Malaysian University Rankings. It is ranked 74th in the world and 1st in Malaysia for agriculture and forestry. The total area of the university is 1200 hectares. The university has 16 faculties, 9 institutes, 16 centers, 2 schools and 1 academy.
