Samarkand State University was visited by a delegation of the association "Fan xa texnika" of the Muhammadiyah University of Indonesia. The Vice-Rector for International Cooperation of SamSU, Professor Akmal Akhatov met with the guests.

      The main purpose of the visit is to sign a memorandum on international cooperation between the parties, to negotiate the establishment of an academic exchange of professors, teachers and students. It is also expected to jointly receive international grants, prepare scientific articles and doctoral dissertations.

     Representatives of the delegation showed great interest in the research of professors and teachers working in the field of mathematics, physics, chemistry and information technology at SamSU, and reached a number of agreements.

     An agreement was reached on the preparation of materials, organization of seminars and international conferences, academic programs, research together with the Dean of the Faculty of Intelligent Systems and Computer Technologies of the Samara State University, Associate Professor Abdusattor Boboyorov, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Muhammadiyah University in Surakarta, Rois Fatoni, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Muhammadiyah University in Magelang, Yoon Arifatul Fatima, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Muhammadiyah University in Jakarta.

      Akmal Yarmukhammedov, Director of the Institute of Engineering Physics of SamSU, has prepared plans for the exchange of educational materials, faculty and students with the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Muhammadiyah University in Yogyakarta Aris Vido Nugroho.

      Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry of SamSU, Associate Professor Sanzhar Tillaev agreed on long-term plans for the development of international projects in cooperation with representatives of the delegation.

      After the talks, Indonesian scientists got acquainted with the activities and scientific laboratories of the Institute of Engineering Physics of SamSU.
