ABOUT THE INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON SULTAN YILDIRIM BAYAZID AND AMIR TEMUR

    An international and multi-stakeholder symposium on Sultan Bayazid and Amir Temur will be held in the provinces of Samarkand, Bursa and Ankara between the dates 17-26 October, 2022. Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University (AYBU), Bursa Uludagh University, Samarkand State University, Directorate of Muslims in Uzbekistan, Turkish Historical Society, Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), Yunus Emre Institute, International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY), Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, Bursa Municipality of Yildirim District, Ankara Municipality of Chubuk District, Ankara Municipality of Kechioren District are among the shareholders. The purpose of this conference is to establish cooperation relations in Turkey and Uzbekistan, centering the cities of Samarkand, Bursa and Ankara around Sultan Yildirim Bayazid and Amir Temur.

    The project named "Sultan Yildirim Bayazid and Amir Temur International Conference (Samarkand-Bursa-Ankara)" has many goals. First of all, the main goals are to contribute to the development of relations between the two sister countries Turkey and Uzbekistan, to increase cooperation and harmony in the fields of history, literature, art, culture, economy, and philosophy. On the other hand, in this international symposium, one of our important goals is to eliminate the negative views that have arisen over time in two countries related to Amir Temur and Sultan Yildirim Bayazid. In addition, although the names of Amir Temur and Sultan Yildirim Bayazid are mentioned in the battle of Ankara, one of the goals of the project is to reveal and discuss the high level of civilization achieved in the fields of science, art, literature, architecture, and foundation. So, it is planned to bring together the scientists of Turkey and Uzbekistan and make a significant contribution to mutual cooperation and joint research.

    Thanks to the project, close relations and cooperation between Turkey and Uzbekistan will be established, cooperation will be further strengthened and spread widely in all fields. First of all, it serves to develop the relations between the two sister countries Turkey and Uzbekistan, it helps to increase cooperation and solidarity in the fields of history, literature, art, economy and philosophy. The struggle of the two great Turkic rulers, Yildirim Bayazid Khan and Amir Temur, and the historical periods in question, are expected to be of great benefit to Turkic science and academia. As a result, it is intended that the relations between Turkey and Uzbekistan will continue in a stronger way. After the symposium, it is planned to publish the lectures and present them to the world of science.

    "The Sultan Yildirim Boyazid and Amir Temur International Conference (Samarkand-Bursa-Ankara) project is a large conference that will be held on October 17-26, 2022 in the cities of Samarkand, Bursa, and Ankara to focus on the eras and timeless influence of the two great Turkish khans. Stakeholders of this event include Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University, Bursa Uludag University, Samarkand State University, Office of Muslims of Uzbekistan, Turkish Historical Society, Presidency of Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency, Yunus Emre Institute, TURKSOY, Bursa City Hall, Bursa Yildirim District Hall, Ankara Chubuk There is a hokimity and Ankara Kechioren hokimity.
