Associate Professor of Botany Department of Samarkand State University Zebiniso Nomozova wrote about 30 textbooks on botany and plant morphology. She has published more than 110 scientific articles in state and international publications. From these, 5 are the journals that are indexed in the Scopus database. In addition to conducting research in the field of natural cultivation and interaction of medicinal plants, the scientist taught students "Plant Anatomy", "Plant Morphology", "Systematics of Higher Plants" and "Geobotany".

    Zebiniso Nomozova told: - This plant is widely used in medicine and pharmaceuticals as a medicinal plant. The prickly artichoke comes from the Mediterranean region. It occurs in Uzbekistan in Samarkand and Bukhara regions. The prickly artichoke is widely used as a medicinal plant for the treatment of liver and kidney diseases, allergies, and diabetes. In the course of research, we received a grant for the cultivation of medicinal plants in the wild in the republic, and a prickly artichoke plant was planted in the Botanical Garden of SamSU. Today we are working on expanding the area under cultivation, planting new varieties and increasing supplies for the pharmaceutical industry.
