The Ministry of Education reported, that the procedure for admission into 1st grade of schools will start from June 20th.

    The admission process in districts, that are located around the particular school, will be conducted from June 20th to July 31st of this year.

    From August 1st to 15th 2022, the additional admission of students to vacant places in schools will be conducted, which are not located near to districts, based on the number of vacant student places in schools, the number of qualified personnel and availability of school furniture in schools.

    In addition, to simplify admission process for parents, the admission process in schools located in Tashkent and Republic of Karakalpakstan can be conducted online.

    In other regions of Karakalpakstan Republic and other regions (cities) of Uzbekistan, the admission into 1st grade will be conducted as usual, i.e. by going and applying at each school.

    Reminder! According to the legislations in place, the students, who are reaching the age of 7 years can be admitted to schools.

    Furthermore in order to be admitted into first grade for academic year 2022-2023, the student should reach the age of 7 years old during the academic year of admission, i.e. they should have been born from January 1st to December 31st 2015.

    The Ministry also reports that the school administration can be contacted for receiving additional information about the admission process.
