A meeting between the academic and youth was held at Samarkand State University

A meeting was held with the Doctor of Historical Sciences, Academician Dilorom Yusupova at the Faculty of History of Samarkand State University named after Sharof Rashidov.
The event was attended by teachers and students of the Department of History and Studies of historical sources at the Faculty of History. The ideas expressed by the scientist, who has been studying manuscripts of Eastern authors for almost 60 years, studying the sources of the written heritage of the peoples of the East, working with historical manuscripts, copying rare manuscripts and scientific descriptions of lithographic editions of Eastern manuscripts, were extremely useful for students.
An important step in the protection of rare source examples was the practical proposal of Academician Dilorom Yusupova to create a catalog of manuscripts stored in the base library of Samarkand State University.
The time for questions and answers also provided students with the opportunity to get answers to questions about the history of Eastern source studies directly from the academician.
"Today's meeting made a big impression on me," said Jamshid Ochilov, a history student. "I learned a lot from the famous academician Dilorom Yusupova." During the meeting, I tried to write down every word of the scientist. This is because he shared valuable information about the results of his many years of research and their significance in the history of world science, as well as about rare manuscripts kept in famous museums around the world. In particular, information about lithographs of oriental manuscripts kept in the British Museum in London, as well as about rare copies of works by famous historians Mirkhand and Khandamir, was new to me.
