SamGU hosts high place in the rating of high schools

The Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with the State Inspectorate for Quality Control of Education for the first time developed a rating of universities in Uzbekistan with advanced experience of developed countries and methods of training large rating agencies such as QS, ARWU, TIME.
The assessment of higher education institutions was evaluated on the basis of 23 indicators, such as the scientific potential of professors and teachers, the quality of scientific articles published by them. Based on these indicators, 57 higher education institutions were analyzed in March-June of this year, and their rating was checked on January 1, 2018.
According to the rating, Samarkand State University is included in the list below presented to the top five:
1. National University of Uzbekistan.
2. Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies.
3. Tashkent Institute of Agricultural Irrigation and Mechanization.
4. Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry.
5. Samarkand State University.
