  In April of this year, Samarkand State University and Shanxi Pedagogical University entered into agreements on cooperation and the joint establishment of the three Silk Road unions. In early December, a delegation led by the party secretary of Shanxi University of Pedagogy, Professor Cheng Guansuy, Head of the International Cooperation Department Xu Feng, Dean of the Russian Language Department Men Xia Xia, Co-Director of the Russian Center for Teacher Training, Natalya Tsareva, to strengthen bilateral cooperation. During their visit, the guests visited the faculties and departments of SamSU, gave lectures at a meeting of the Academic Council of SSU and familiarized all participants with the areas of personnel training and opportunities for conducting scientific and technical cooperation.
