Required documents for applicants to the trainee-researcher and basic doctoral programs:

  1. Brief biographical information (application form – Form 3.5).
  2. Copy of a master’s degree diploma from a higher education institution or a diploma of higher education (specialist programs).
  3. Copies of published scientific works (at least one article published in a scientific journal that may form the basis of the dissertation research, and at least two abstracts included in collections of conference proceedings in relevant fields).
  4. National or international certificate confirming the level of foreign language proficiency (for applicants to the basic doctoral program).
  5. Holders of the Presidential Scholarship of the Republic of Uzbekistan must submit a copy of the corresponding document (if applicable).

Additional documents may be requested if necessary.

 

Required documents for applicants to the doctoral program:

  1. Brief biographical information (application form – Form 3.5).
  2. Copy of a diploma of higher education, Candidate of Sciences degree, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) diploma, or a foreign diploma recognized as equivalent.
  3. Copies of published scientific works (at least three scientific articles published in journals that may form the basis of the dissertation research, and at least two abstracts included in the proceedings of scientific-practical conferences, seminars, or other relevant publications).
  4. National or international certificate confirming the level of foreign language proficiency.

Additional documents may be requested if necessary.

 

In accordance with paragraph 4 of Presidential Decree No. PF–81 of May 24, 2024, “On Improving the System of Admission to Higher Education Institutions and the Placement of State Orders,” the required levels of foreign language proficiency are as follows:

  • for foreign language specialties — at least C1 level;
  • for humanities, biological and related sciences, mathematics and statistics, business and management, law, service, social and behavioral sciences, journalism and information, and information and communication technologies — at least B2 level;
  • for other fields of study, as well as for culture and sports specialties — at least B1 level.
