Head of the International Cooperation Department of Samarkand State University Mukhtar Nosirov and Associate Professor Tashpolat Rajabov, Director of the Institute of Agrobiotechnologies and Food Safety of SamDU, went to Italy to study foreign experience in the agricultural sector.

    The scientists intend to visit Bologna, Padova and Sapienza universities in Italy and conduct a series of negotiations. In particular, studying the educational and scientific activities of professors of the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences of the University of Bologna, seeing the possibilities of attracting SamSU students to the international horticulture master's specialty available at the faculty, educational and planned to get acquainted with the activity and infrastructure of scientific-research laboratories. It is also planned to study the methods of conducting research in field experimental test areas, to reach agreements on the activities of professors and teachers at SamSU.

    It is planned to get acquainted with the activities of agronomy and natural sciences, to study international exchange programs and to consider the possibilities of attracting students of SamSU and to reach an agreement on the exchange of professors and teachers with the University of Padua and Sapienza.
