102 kg at the Asian Weightlifting Championship in Bahrain. Sharofiddin Amriddinov, a student of SamSU who participated in the weight category, won 1 gold and 2 bronze medals.

    Sharofiddin 172 kg in deadlift. and became the winner of the gold medal, surpassing the champion of the Tokyo-2020 Olympics Elbah Fares from Qatar. 196 kg in a win, and 368 kg in two fights. Sharofiddin brought 2 more bronze medals to the account of the national team.

    Also, SamSU students Ogabek Tokhtayev and Hojiakbar Olimov participated in this competition and defended the honor of our country. Ogabek Tokhtayev won a bronze medal at the championship. Hojiakbar Olimov was a bit unlucky and took the 4th place and was recognized as the best athlete by international judges.

    For information, this year Sharofiddin Amriddinov won 2 gold and 1 silver medals at the World Youth Championship held in Iraklon, Greece, 3 gold medals at the Asian Youth Championship held in Tashkent, Konya-2021 Islam won a bronze medal in the solidarity games.
