It would not be a mistake to say that the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Samarkand opened doors for millions of people to new opportunities for intercultural dialogue and mutual exchange. When talking about intercultural dialogue, first of all, we are talking about the tourism sector, which directly or indirectly affects the development of all sectors around the world.

Modern tourism is an important means of ensuring interethnic unity and respect. In this regard, it is worth dwelling on the proposal of our president to declare the coming year the Year of Tourism Development in the SCO space. The agreement on cooperation in the field of tourism, adopted within the framework of the summit, is the necessary legal basis for the development of the industry of joint tourism.

It should be noted that by integrating the art and culture of the SCO states into the world cultural environment and strengthening the historical vision of each country in the international arena, promoting samples of historical and cultural heritage around the world, organizing virtual museums, art exhibitions, scientific videoconferences, as suggested by our President By actively involving young people in such projects, we contribute to the further rapprochement of our peoples.
