Samarkand State University was visited by Melik Kailan, editor of the prestigious US magazine Forbes, Ari Kagan, deputy of the city of New York, Rafael Nektalov, editor-in-chief of the Bukhara Time newspaper, and journalist Isaacson Andy Samuellar. The guests were received by Vice-Rector of Samarkand State University for International Cooperation Akmal Akhatov, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation Hakim Khushvaktovlar.

    The main purpose of the visit is to prepare journalistic articles about the culture, traditions, lifestyle of Uzbekistan, in particular Samarkand State University, its international cooperation ties. It is also planned to create a database of Jewish graduates who graduated from Bukhara and Samarkand, thereby forming the association "Compatriots" in the United States, and the publication of regular articles about them in the newspaper "Bukharian Times"...
