SamSU and Seget University (Hungary) establish partnerships…

Samarkand State University was visited by professors and teachers of the Institute of Ecology and Botany of Seget University (Hungary). The guests were welcomed by SamSU Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Akmal Akhatov.
The main purpose of this is to restore the vegetation cover of the arid region and conduct research work to assess the fertility of soil and seeds.
It is also designed to attract and guide SamSU students in master's and doctoral studies within the framework of the Hungarian scholarship program Scholarship Hungaricum.
- Seget University in Hungary is one of the higher educational institutions with high authority in the agricultural sector, - says Dean of the Faculty of Agrobiotechnologies and Food Security of SamSU, Associate Professor Toshpulot Radjabov. - Specialists from both universities intend to jointly develop and implement international research projects in the field of studying and restoring natural vegetation. Within the framework of cooperation, it is also planned to train personnel in agricultural educational areas under the guidance of scientists from Seget University. In addition, he also held meetings with students who wished to obtain a master's and doctoral degree in Hungarian universities, and gave them the necessary advice and guidance.
