TO A NEW EDUCATIONAL YEAR WITH NEW OBJECTIVES
A festive event dedicated to the 26th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Day of Knowledge was held at the Samarkand State University with the participation of students from the Faculty of Russian Philology, the Socio-Economic Faculty and the Faculty of Geography and Ecology.
The students and their parents took part in the event, as well as representatives of the general public. The dean of the Faculty of Geography and Ecology S. Abbasov, acting Dean of the Faculty of Russian Philology R. Ryasnyanskaya, Dean of the Socio-Economic Faculty Sh. Umidullaev and teacher Sh. Djurakulov congratulated the first-year students on Independence Day and on Knowledge Day.
Students who received high scores on admission to study at the end of the event were solemnly awarded student tickets.
