“Narcomania – the plague of the century”
Samarkand State University hosted a round table on the theme “Combating drug trafficking among young people”.
Professors and students took part in it. Speaking at the meeting, Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs A. Eshtayev, Head of the Department of the National Center for Drug Control under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh. Gulomov, Head of the Samarkand Regional Narcological Dispensary R. Eshankulov, Head of the Department for Combating Illicit Drug Trafficking of the Samarkand City Office of Internal Affairs F.Indiaminov told about the measures for the prevention of drug addiction and the crimes of young people infected with drug addiction.
At the event, it was noted that it is necessary to raise the legal awareness and culture of teachers and students, to combat this evil in all spheres of state and public life.
