WITH RESPECT TO THE GREAT THINKER
In the assembly hall of Samarkand State University an educational event “With respect to the great thinker” was held, dedicated to the 578th anniversary of the birth of Alisher Navoi. The event was attended by scholars, literary scholars, professors and students.
The dean of the Faculty of Philology, Professor J. Eltazarov gave information about the history of the study of the poet’s creativity in the world. The importance of the poet’s creativity in improving each person was emphasized.
At the end of the event, students read poems from the works of Alisher Navoi.
