We invite students to apply for the Academic Mobility Program at Nazarbayev University (Kazakhstan) for the Spring Semester 2027.

The program offers students the opportunity to study at one of Central Asia’s leading research universities, gain valuable international academic experience, become familiar with a modern learning environment, and enhance their professional competencies.

  • Nomination Period: 3 August – 30 September 2026
  • Announcement of Results: September – October 2026
  • Study Period: 11 January – 6 May 2027

Who Can Apply?

The program is open to university students who meet the academic requirements and possess English language proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Applicants must prepare the following documents:

  • Curriculum Vitae (CV);
  • Copy of a valid passport;
  • Visa Invitation Request Form;
  • Motivation Letter;
  • Official Academic Transcript;
  • Letter of Recommendation;
  • English language certificate confirming B2 level or above.

All documents must be submitted in PDF format.

Selection Procedure

Once a complete application package has been received, the relevant faculties of Nazarbayev University will begin reviewing the nominations.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Therefore, applicants are strongly encouraged to submit their documents as early as possible, which will also facilitate the timely processing of a student visa if selected.

NU Academic Mobility Talks

Prospective applicants are invited to attend the online information session “NU Academic Mobility Talks: Experience a Semester in Kazakhstan”.

During the session, representatives of Nazarbayev University will provide detailed information about academic opportunities, student life, and the application and exchange procedures.
